An established electrical contractor who been in business for over 40 years is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. Responsibilities: Directly responsible for executing and directing all activities for assigned projects and developing/maintaining customer relationships. Responsible for leading and overseeing multiple projects including on-site supervision of field foremen, journeymen, and apprentices. Responsible for lay out of project work and ensuring that all materials, tools, and equipment are scheduled in a timely manner to meet project scope and schedules. Responsible for reviewing project documents; plans and specifications; directing construction activities; resolving issues; coordinating field installations and project closing while adhering to project cost, schedule and quality standards. Performs all work within an established time frame and ensures all work is completed in conformance with quality work standards and projected man-hours while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements. Schedule, conduct and/or participate in project meetings on and off site. Interact with owners, owner representatives, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and others who are associated with project activities. Will report to company president and will interact with field and office support staff.
Experience: Previous electrical project management/estimating experience required. Advanced computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, ConEst). Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills. Ability to multi-task while remaining highly organized.
