Niobrara Electric Association is currently seeking a working master electrician for our electrician program. Current customer base includes residential, small commercial, irrigation, and oil field work. Current staffing includes 1 apprentice and 1 journeyman. Job responsibilities include supervision of the department, scheduling, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Must be licensed master electrician in WY. Nebraska electrical contractor license a plus. If you have a SD masters license, it may reciprocate to both NE and WY. Benefits include retirement, 401(k), health insurance, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays. some afterhours/on call. Must relocate to within 30 miles of Lusk, WY. Niobrara Electric Association is a very successful organization with nineteen employees serving approximately 3100 meters and about 2300 miles of distribution line, within Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota.
NEA headquarters are located in Lusk, WY. Lusk is located in Eastern Wyoming at the Junction of Highways 85 and 20, and has a population of approximately 1500. Lusk is an active community with an excellent public school system, a strong community education program and a county owned hospital. Lusk is 1-2 hours from the Black Hills, Laramie Range, Glendo Reservoir, and many other recreational opportunities.
