The Engineering Manager role is a pivotal one in the Stage Front organization. Being a consultative partner for our clients means producing detailed designs and information while maintaining focus on the client's end goal. The Engineering team plays a critical function in this process and requires a strong, dynamic leader.

What You'll Do:
Promote a culture of exceptional customer service and technical standards
Lead a versatile team of A/V engineers, CAD designers, and programmers
Oversee efforts to discover and implement new technology in client designs
Provide mentoring and training to team to ensure team members reach their maximum potential
Oversee the activities of the team, lead change and risk management efforts, identify appropriate resources, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
Review financial information to formulate and manage department budget to promote profitability
Set, monitor, and ensure completion of department goals
Share knowledge and experience to enhance the technical capabilities of the company
Vet and collaborate with vendors to select the best partners and products to recommend to clients
Provide briefings to senior management including regular status reports and periodic reviews of major issues and programs
What You Bring:
Proven experience and successful track record as a manager or key employee in the A/V or closely related industry
Exceptional communications and people skills, working well under time and financial pressure
Ability to think strategically and carry out a vision. Advanced skills in leadership, communication, and conflict resolution.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience while building strong relationships with leaders across the organization
Thorough understanding of the construction process and MEP documentation
Top level analytical/creative problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude toward work, employees, partners, and clients
Dedication to making it right for clients and partners
